Getting Started: Default Project and Nodes
Every project in Fabella Creator starts with a default setup, consisting of a Start node and an End node. A node is the connection point in your story where your content lies. These Start and End nodes are needed for your project to work – every story needs a beginning and an ending.
You’ll also encounter a Say node in the default project. This type of node vocalizes any text you enter, or can even play an audio file if you add one.
Customizing Narration with Characters
Fabella Creator can customize the narrator’s voice by selecting different characters or voices. You’ll have a narrator there by default, and you can easily switch to alternative voices using Amazon Poly or Microsoft Azure. Go to the character menu, preview available voices, and select your preferred character to give your story a unique voice.
Branching Narratives
Fabella Creator enables you to create branching narratives, like in a choose-your-own-adventure story. By adding Hear nodes for your user to respond with, you can branch off into different storylines based on the user’s answers. Below is an example of a simple yes or no answer in a Hear node.
Visuals and Media Integration
Fabella Creator makes it easy to use images in your projects with Display nodes. First, upload images directly to the platform in the Media section at the top of the page.
