Templates in Fabella Creator are designed to help you quickly kickstart your projects by providing pre-built structures that you can customize to fit your needs.

Whether you’re creating an interactive story, tour, or a quiz – templates offer a great way to get started without having to build everything from scratch. You can use Fabella Creator’s built-in templates, or even create your own. Plus, you can use them as many times as you’d like.

This guide will walk you through the different types of templates available and how you can use them to streamline your project development.

Accessing Templates

When you start a new project in Fabella Creator, you’ll be prompted to choose a template. To access the templates:

  1. Go to the Dashboard.
  2. Click on File and select New Project.
  3. Enter a project name, description, and choose a project type.
  4. Under Template, you’ll find options like Corporate Training, GPS Tourism, and Quiz. Select a template that suits your needs and click OK.

For example…

The Corporate Training (Easy) Template

These templates have notes within the project to tell you exactly what to do and where to add your own information and text. This is a brief overview of what you can expect from the Corporate Training (easy) template:

  • Start Node: This is the beginning of your story.
  • Introduction: Welcomes users and provides an opening for the training solution.
  • Content: Add the information that you want to share with your users and let them learn at their own pace.
  • Quiz: After your user has gone over the training content, quiz them to see how much they know. If they get the answer wrong, they will have to repeat the question. Once all questions have been answered, they’re rewarded with a virtual trophy.

Customizing Templates

Once you’ve selected a template, you can customize it to fit your specific needs:

  • Edit Nodes: Modify existing nodes or add new ones to adjust the story, facts, or quiz questions.
  • Change Text: Update the text in narration, questions, or answers.
  • Add Features: Incorporate additional nodes or functions to enhance your project.

Why Use Templates?

Templates in Fabella Creator are great for quickly setting up your projects with a solid foundation. By using templates, you can jumpstart your project development and focus on customization and content creation. No need for coding or trained developers. Experiment with these templates to see how they can benefit your workflow.
